The aim of association for promotion of environmental protection, nature conservation, sustainable development and tourism “Lončari” is environment preservation, improvement of living conditions and commitment to be environmental friendly, management of natural resources through sustainable development, protection of cultural heritage, and to encourage the preservation of nature and an environment as fundamental values of the society.
The Lončari village is located at 365 meters above sea level. Not far from the village there are the river Bijela, one of the cleanest mountain river in Croatia, then the canyon Bijela which is the nature park, as well as the remains of a Turkish prison Pržun dating from 1400 AC and located on white rock. Furthermore, at a distance of 2 km as the crow flies, there are Karin and Novigrad Sea, which belongs to the second largest bay in the Adriatic Sea. From the top of the village the panorama view achieved until the islands of Pag and Kornati.
